Hahh… I beat old Vickery by 10 years at “BMT”, Lackland, right after we began the “Korean War”. Then back again June ’53 for OCS and not returning until our 2008 Reunion. I conducted “Tough Tiger” training as “acting” BDCL at Homestead, 1958.
My completion of CDF training at Parks & Beale AFBs in ’54 helped me then and at Pleiku, Vietnam in “69/’70! Dewy Maxwell and George Roberts were two of my “Favorites All-Time” along with a guy named “Victory” (or something like that!)!
